Susan Crawford
I am a Speech and Language Therapist with over 25 years’ experience supporting children with a wide range of communication needs across home, school and therapy settings. My work has included supporting children with limited or no spoken language, including those who use AAC, as well as the adults around them in everyday environments. I am particularly passionate about AAC and supporting children to communicate in ways that work for them. My approach is practical and grounded in real life, focusing on small, achievable strategies that fit into daily routines. I believe communication grows best when it is supported throughout the day, not just in therapy sessions. This course is designed to share that experience and help you feel more confident supporting your child at home.
